Role Summary

The Head of Investor Relations is responsible for developing and continuously refining the company’s narrative, ensuring it clearly reflects the current business profile, competitive positioning, and long-term strategic priorities.

This role serves as a strategic advisor to the CEO and CFO, partnering closely with executive leadership to articulate and consistently communicate the company’s value proposition to investors, analysts, and other capital markets stakeholders. The position leads investor-facing strategy and execution, including earnings communications, investor days, conferences, and non‑deal roadshows (NDRs), with the objective of building long‑term credibility, improving investor understanding, and supporting sustainable shareholder value creation.

Core Responsibilities

Investor Narrative & Strategic Ownership

  • Develop, own, and evolve the company’s narrative, ensuring it accurately reflects:
  • The current operating model and financial profile
  • Strategic growth priorities and long‑term value drivers
  • Capital allocation philosophy and performance framework
  • Serve as steward of the investor narrative, ensuring consistency, clarity, and discipline across all external communications.
  • Translate complex financial, operational, and strategic initiatives into clear, credible, and differentiated investor messaging tailored to diverse investor audiences.
  • Proactively identify gaps in investor understanding and refine messaging as the company’s strategy and portfolio evolve.

CEO & CFO Advisory / Market Engagement

  • Serve as a trusted partner and advisor to the CEO and CFO on:
  • Market positioning and investor perception
  • Narrative framing for earnings, strategic updates, and capital allocation decisions
  • Anticipated investor and analyst questions and sensitivities
  • Lead preparation and coaching of senior leadership for earnings calls, investor meetings, conferences, and roadshows, including messaging frameworks, talking points, and FAQs.
  • Partner closely with the CFO on capital markets strategy, investor targeting, and engagement cadence.
  • Develop relationships with institutional investors, sell‑side analysts, and rating agencies, serving as a senior point of contact.
  • Support and guide key investor interactions alongside senior leadership.
  • Lead strategy, planning, and execution of non‑deal roadshows (NDRs), investor days, and conference participation.
  • Drive a proactive engagement model focused on building a high‑quality, long‑term shareholder base.
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant responses to investor and analyst inquiries.

Financial & Strategic Communication

  • Oversee and provide final ownership of:
  • Earnings releases and scripts
  • Investor presentations and fact sheets
  • FAQs and other investor‑facing materials
  • Ensure alignment across all external communications.
  • Partner with Finance, Legal, and Communications to maintain strong disclosure controls and governance standards.
  • Monitor shareholder base, trading activity, peer performance, and broader market trends.
  • Analyze investor sentiment and analyst perspectives; provide actionable insights to executive leadership.
  • Track analyst coverage, estimates, and reports; coordinate internal positioning and responses.
  • Support capital markets transactions, including equity or debt offerings and M&A‑related communications, as needed.

Required Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in investor relations, equity research, investment banking, or corporate finance.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting senior executives in public‑company, capital markets‑facing roles.
  • Proven ability to develop and articulate clear, credible investment narratives for complex businesses.
