Position Overview

The Glory Americas Director of Solutions Management is responsible for defining the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the role's designated product line, focused on the Americas markets. This includes accountability for managing the product development lifecycle from concept to sunset, collecting and analyzing product strategy information, ensuring the product line performance and quality, developing and managing the product team, and serving as a business leader in the company.

Salary: Starting at $145,000 annually + OTE. The final offer will be determined based on qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead assigned product team, acting as a role model and mentor for team members.
  • Hold accountability for individual team member performance on every aspect of their roles.
  • Lead other teams/projects as necessary to further the overall state of the company; serve as executive change agent. Effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Identify and execute continuous improvements related to products and business processes.
  • Run projects as necessary to further product line goals; prepare and provide project status to executive team.
  • Develop and manage initiative plans, budgets, resource needs, and execute initiatives accordingly.
  • Manage the product development lifecycle from concept to sunset, including all components of the solution (hardware, software, integrations).
  • Collect, analyze, present, and share information, serving as subject matter expert on all key product strategy, development, and go-to-market aspects (competitors, positioning, market research, customer communication, customer experience).
  • Ensure ultimate product line performance and quality; work as executive sponsor/leader on product line roadmap in tandem with global teams.
  • Performance and professional development of team (direct reports and/or dotted line colleagues).
  • Serving as a business leader in the company, supporting all strategic initiatives and leading select initiatives as needed.
  • Stay abreast of and conduct current research to identify market problems and product opportunities.
  • Define product family strategy aligned with company goals and market opportunities.
  • Establish strategic market position and go-to-market approach for product line based on market data, competitive analysis, customer research and internal capabilities.
  • Serve as subject matter expert and liaison for North American functions, bringing market-specific focus to all key strategic decisions.
  • Provide thought leadership for the market, directly and through team members.
  • Identify and communicate product-related risks, issues and implications across all global stakeholders; perform impact analysis and lead or elevate cross‑functional resolution.
  • Determine product line strategy including product positioning and value propositions for all stakeholders.
  • Lead team to develop, implement, and manage new product ideas, roadmaps, defect and enhancement lists, quantifiable prioritization scoring, business cases, customer use cases, and product launch plans.
  • Develop/en‑enable team to communicate the economic rationale for product enhancements and new product launches.
  • Lead product manager direct reports and/or cross‑functional teams in development and launch of new products, including business case creation, KPI development, operating model creation, delivery workflows, etc.
  • Ensure effective positioning, pricing and packaging strategy for product lines.
  • Run or guide sales enablement, providing content, expectations, and success criteria for selling product line.
  • Ensure team executes the development of sales tools for North America markets, maintaining currency and relevance.
  • Partner with marketing in creating collateral, presentations, and user documentation describing benefits and features of solutions.
  • Work with sales and customer‑facing colleagues to identify, qualify, and pursue opportunities.
  • Assist with RFPs and gathering customer requirements as needed.
  • Attend industry trade shows.
  • Create/train teams on software and hardware demos, run demos and ensure team can perform on behalf of stakeholders.
  • Ensure effective ongoing creation and management of product roadmaps based on market data, business targets and company resources and priorities.
  • Ensure effective management of the full lifecycle of owned product lines in North America, from concept through revenue generation to end of life.
  • Run go‑to‑market process and drive continuous improvement for product lines; own pricing, packaging, promotion, positioning, ensuring a high‑quality implementation/experience for customers, partners and Glory overall.
  • Design and guide or implement product performance monitoring for assigned products.

Education Level

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in Product Management, Technical Solution Support, Software Product Development, Product Ownership, and/or Program Management.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Excellent collaborative and problem‑solving skills, ability to create and implement innovative solutions.
  • Experience with IoT products and SaaS solutions.
  • Understanding of Agile development principles.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and proficiency in time management to handle deadline pressures and multiple assignments and clients simultaneously.
  • Self‑disciplined, self‑starter, highly motivated, strong ability to develop effective teams and be a significant contributing member through hands‑on execution.
  • Ability to develop and communicate conceptual ideas including design rationale and business cases to all levels of the organization, from Board/C‑Level to new first‑job employees.
  • Ability to assess a situation with multiple viewpoints, identify priorities, create a plan, and execute on the plan which delivers on company objectives.
  • Must be process‑focused, able to take accountability for projects and issues and drive to completion or resolution, through direct ownership or cross‑functional collaboration.

  • Experience in Financial and Retail industries.
  • Demonstrated history in successfully bringing products to market.
  • Conversational Japanese language skills.

Pay Range

$145,000–$168,000 + Compensation incentive plan $25,000 OTE. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job‑related factors permitted by law such as experience, education, geographic location, licensure, certifications, market factors, departmental budgets, and responsibility.
