Position: Oracle DBA
Location: Remote Opportunity
Duration: 06-12+ months + extension
Pay Range: $45-$47/hr on W2, 40 hrs/Week
Responsibilities : • Database Engineering & Architecture: Design, install, configure, and upgrade Oracle database servers. • High Availability & Disaster Recovery: Implement and manage Oracle RAC. • Performance Tuning: Perform advanced SQL, PL/SQL, and instance-level tuning using AWR, ADDM, and ASH reports to optimize performance. • Automation & Scripting: Write and maintain Unix shell scripts (Bash/KornShell) or Python to automate routine DBA tasks, backups, and monitoring. • Backup & Recovery: Formulate and execute backup/recovery strategies using RMAN (Recovery Manager). • Production Support: Provide on-call support for critical production issues, including root cause analysis (RCA)
