Required Skills

Strong experience in R&D tax credits, including end-to-end project execution

In-depth knowledge of federal and state R&D tax regulations and court cases

Hands‑on experience with tax return preparation and amendments

Solid understanding of tax accounting methods and fixed asset concepts

Ability to analyze financial and accounting data, including cost schedules and summaries

Proven experience managing multiple projects and client engagements simultaneously

Prior project management experience, including planning, execution, and delivery

Strong client‑facing skills, including conducting site visits and gathering technical information

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially for preparing detailed reports

Ability to work under deadlines, manage priorities, and support leadership initiatives

Willingness to travel to client locations as needed

Preferred or Nice‑to‑have Skills

Master’s or Ph.D. in Economics, Statistics, Finance, Mathematics, or related fields

Experience in industries such as Technology, Life Sciences, Manufacturing, Real Estate, Construction, Hospitality

Exposure to consulting or Big 4 environments

Strong analytical and quantitative background

Mandatory Requirements

Active CPA or JD (Attorney License) – Required (Enrolled Agent not acceptable)

6–10 years of experience in R&D tax credits or related tax areas

Minimum 4 years of experience in public accounting or consulting
