Duties and Responsibilities
- Market at a sophisticated level to the clinical referral sources in the assigned area and promote referrals to the “Civitas brand” for multiple assigned communities within a geographical region.
- Identify business development sources through review of geographic demographics, marketing outreach, sales calls, and hosting marketing events.
- Develop positive, collaborative working relationships with key referral partners and the community at large through marketing initiatives and event planning.
- Develop and establish and expand professional network.
- Meet the monthly sales and marketing metric expectations.
- Develop and maintain current database of existing and potential referral sources for assigned communities.
- Attend weekly sales & marketing meetings at assigned communities.
- Monitor the return on investment (ROI) for all events and presentations.
- Develop and implement outcome-based marketing plans.
- Maintain a working knowledge of federal and state regulations.
- Monitor and communicate external marketing metrics and trends.
- Prepare required reports in a timely and accurate manner.
- Additional duties as assigned.

- Responsible for providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers.

Key Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- Experience of 3+ years in a sales and marketing role in the senior care industry, preferably in a multi‑site role.
- Must be knowledgeable of DADS and Medicare regulations.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with corporate staff, senior management, and community employees.
- Must demonstrate the ability to work responsibly as a team member as well as an individual.
- Must be honest, fair, and dependable; respect confidentiality and the rights and privacy of others.
- Practice and promote Community Policies and Procedures, Mission Statement, Core Values, and Founding Principles.
- Must be computer literate.
- Experience managing budgets.
- Must pass criminal background check.
- Must pass motor vehicle check.
- Must meet all health requirements.
- Must have the ability to travel frequently in assigned territory.
- Must be able to perform the duties and responsibilities (Essential Job Functions) with or without reasonable accommodation.
Physical Requirements
- Sitting, twisting, bending, crawling, squatting, kneeling, crouching, climbing, and balancing may also be required frequently.
- Must be able to operate a motor vehicle.
- Must be able to relate to and work with the ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and, at times, hostile people within the Facility.
