Lead, Inspire, and Elevate Connoisseur Media in Louisville. Connoisseur Media is seeking an exceptional Program Director to lead WXMA “The Rose” in Louisville, KY. This is a rare opportunity for a proven radio leader ready to make an impact in one of our dynamic markets. Louisville features a powerhouse cluster with Top 40, Hip Hop, Adult R&B, and Alternative brands. We’re ready to take The Rose to the next level and seek a visionary who can make AC radio fresh, engaging, and emotionally compelling.

Responsibilities

• Lead program directives; be a leader, champion, and culture-builder with creativity and strategic thinking; understand what makes AC audiences connect
• Represent the station in the community; attend events, parades, coat drives; engage listeners and partners
• Collaborate with sales to deliver creative solutions for clients and partners
• Oversee music scheduling, automation, imaging, and content production
• Utilize social media to enhance modern radio presence
• Demonstrational leadership to guide the team and collaborate across departments
• On-air skills to keep listeners tuned in during the afternoon drive

Qualifications

• Proven Program Director experience with a track record of success
• Strong command of music scheduling, automation systems, imaging, and content production
• A commitment to local connections, community support, and culture building
• Ability to collaborate with sales, delivering creative solutions for clients and partners
• Understanding of social media’s role in modern radio
• Knowledge of Nielsen ratings
• Inspirational leadership skills to guide your team and collaborate across departments
• On-air skills for the afternoon drive
