Head of Investor Relations | Multi-Strategy Investment Platform | New York

We are working with a high-growth investment management platform at the intersection of technology, energy, and industrial transformation , seeking to appoint its first Head of Investor Relations .

This is not a traditional IR role.

The platform spans venture investing, private credit, and venture incubator lab , with a focus on backing and building companies across some of the most compelling sectors globally including AI infrastructure, data centres, industrial automation, energy systems, and next-generation supply chains .

With strong early momentum and increasing investor demand, the firm is now looking to bring in a senior capital formation leader to build and scale its investor platform globally .

The Opportunity

This is a first-in, build role with significant visibility and influence across the business.

You will lead capital formation across multiple strategies, working directly with leadership to shape how the platform is positioned to institutional investors globally.

The role combines strategic input, product development, and hands‑on fundraising execution with exposure across both fund‑level and direct investment opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead fundraising across venture and credit strategies, as well as selected direct investment opportunities
• Engage directly with institutional LPs, family offices, and global allocators
• Translate market insights and investor feedback into differentiated fund strategies and structures
• Own and manage the end‑to‑end fundraising process, from origination through to close
• Build and deepen relationships across the global investor landscape
• Oversee investor communications, materials, and data room processes
• Drive international expansion of the LP base across key markets (US, Europe, Middle East, Asia)
• Represent the platform externally through investor meetings, events, and thought leadership

Candidate Profile

• 8+ years’ experience in investor relations / capital formation within private markets
• Demonstrated track record of raising $200M+
• Experience across institutional LPs, including pensions, sovereign wealth funds, and family offices
• Exposure to multi‑strategy platforms (venture, private equity, credit, or real assets) preferred
• Strong global investor network and credibility with senior decision‑makers
• Highly commercial, hands‑on, and comfortable operating in a build environment
• Exceptional communicator, able to articulate complex investment strategies clearly
