What You’ll Do
As a Senior Tax Manager , you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our tax team, with an emphasis on providing estate and trust tax planning. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading estate and trust tax planning to help clients protect and preserve their wealth for future generations through estate and gift tax planning, retirement plan distributions, charitable giving techniques, gifting limitations, transfer tax equivalent credits, generational skipping-transfers, split gifting, spousal trusts, and education and medical gifting.
- Providing comprehensive tax planning and consulting to individuals and businesses.
- Reviewing and signing tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and S corporations.
- Overseeing fiduciary income tax returns and managing complex tax matters.
- Mentoring, training, and developing staff, seniors, and supervisors while acting as a technical resource.
- Building new business, maintaining client relationships, and expanding referral networks.
- Consulting with clients to resolve issues and recommend practical, value-added solutions.
What We’re Looking For
- 10+ years of tax experience in public accounting
- CPA license required
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- Proven management experience within a public accounting firm
- Strong organizational, analytical, and project management skills
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication abilities
- A proactive, dependable professional with integrity, initiative, and leadership presence
