Your Contribution

As our Senior Tax Manager, reporting to the Head of Taxation North America, you will be responsible for the timely delivery of high‑quality quarterly income tax reporting and accurate execution of annual U.S. income tax compliance. These individual drives the tax calendar, oversees first‑line technical review, ensures data integrity across Finance and Accounting, and maintains audit‑ready documentation and controls. You will coordinate outsourced compliance support, manage external service providers, and advance standardization, automation, and process improvements across all domestic tax workstreams. You will also provide day‑to‑day direction and development for the tax team, fostering a disciplined, collaborative environment that supports reliable execution and continuous improvement. A few key items include:

  • Lead the preparation and first‑line review of quarterly and annual U.S. income tax provision (current/deferred), ETR analysis, and return‑to‑provision true‑ups.
  • Coordinate German GAAP reporting packages and disclosures for consolidation with the German parent.
  • Support analysis of new U.S. tax legislation and prepare draft documentation for review by the Head of Tax (e.g., One Big Beautiful Bill, §174, §163(j), bonus depreciation) on provision, compliance, and cash taxes; draft technical memos.
  • Oversee state apportionment inputs, nexus tracking, and tax attributes (NOLs, credits, §163(j) carryforwards).
  • Provide limited support for international reporting inputs for Forms 5471/8858 via service providers and prepare provision/forecast inputs for GILTI, FTC baskets, FDII, and Subpart F.
  • Lead tax audits day‑to‑day; own PBC tracker, issue logs, and response quality and timelines.
  • Maintain internal control narratives, control matrices, and evidence binders for provision and compliance processes.

Your Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required
  • Master's degree in Taxation is preferred
  • A valid CPA license is required
  • 7–10+ years corporate tax experience with prior review responsibilities; ASC 740 proficiency required
  • Experience with ONESOURCE Tax Provision and SAP is highly desirable.
