
Tooling Designer - 6 Month Project

Tooling Designer (6‑month contract, possible extension)
Quest Global is a world‑class engineering solutions provider across aerospace, automotive, energy, hi‑tech, healthcare, medical devices, rail and semiconductor industries.
Responsibilities
Work as part of a drafting team to update existing drawings, create new detailed drawings, and assist in the release of development and production tooling drawings.
Design and analyze drawings in 2D with 3D modeling of tooling.
Manage parts creation from internal customer orders to production‑level prints.
Perform tolerancing stack‑ups and/or drawing‑checking functions as needed.
Track and document tooling piece parts, including within larger assemblies.
Qualifications
STEM degree with 2–4 years of demonstrated design and drafting experience.
Exposure to the aerospace manufacturing industry preferred.
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
Demonstrated drafting ability with CREO experience preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
Pay Range: $33/hr – $38/hr

Work Requirements
Location: Windsor Locks, CT (on‑site, first shift 7:30 am – 4:00 pm)
Must be able to commute to and from the site with personal transportation.
Work in a shop floor environment requiring extensive walking and lifting up to 40 lbs.
Travel Requirements
None.
Citizenship Requirement
U.S. citizenship required.
