Position Overview
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Talent Acquisition & Retention Specialist to lead hiring, onboarding, and retention efforts across our assisted living and home care operations. This role is responsible for developing and executing practical, budget‑conscious strategies to attract, hire, and retain high‑quality caregivers and team members. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands‑on—capable of building systems, driving execution, and being accountable to measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition Strategy & Execution
Evaluate open roles, staffing needs, and hiring priorities
Develop and execute cost-effective recruitment strategies
Manage and optimize job postings across platforms
Improve job descriptions and ads
Identify new sourcing channels
Caregiver Recruitment & Community Outreach
Build relationships with CNA schools and community organizations
Develop grassroots recruiting strategies
Represent the company in the community
Employer Branding & Digital Recruiting
Support hiring through social media and online platforms
Ensure visibility across Google Jobs and SEO basics
Collaborate on employer branding content
Retention & Employee Experience
Develop retention initiatives
Strengthen onboarding processes
Improve employee experience
Process Management & Accountability
Maintain recruiting workflows
Track hiring and retention metrics
Provide KPI-based reporting
Continuously improve systems
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Time-to-fill for open positions
Number of qualified applicants generated per role
Cost-per-hire within budget targets
90‑day employee retention rate
Employee turnover reduction
Offer acceptance rate
Onboarding completion and training compliance
Consistency in executing recruiting workflows
Monthly performance scorecard results
Qualifications
5–10 years of experience in recruiting or workforce development
Knowledge of healthcare and/or senior living required
Experience hiring for high‑turnover roles preferred
Strong organizational and communication skills
Comfortable with KPI-driven performance and scorecards
Experience with job boards and digital recruiting tools
Ability to balance strategy with hands‑on execution
Compensation
Base Salary: $67,000 – $72,000 annually
Bonus: Performance-based bonus tied to hiring, retention, and KPI outcomes
