Civil Drafter or EIT (Land Development Focused)

strong hands‑on Civil 3D skills, and experience communicating with clients. This role requires a professional who is friendly, organized and proactive;

Day to Day / What You’ll Do
Prepare site plans, grading plans, and topographic plans for land development projects
Draft civil details and components using Civil 3D
Serve as a point of contact for assigned clients, communicating project scope, schedules, and requirements
Interpret boundary and topographic surveys and field data
Coordinate information between field crews and office staff
Communicate professionally with clients, coworkers, and building officials
Calculate points for construction stakeout
Become proficient in client and company drafting standards and procedures
Required Skills / What We’re Looking For
1+ years of civil design/drafting experience in land development
Strong, current proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D (required)
Ability to read and understand site plans and survey data
Manage ongoing client relationships
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Comfortable working directly with clients
Experience with Microsoft Office and Windows
Ability to follow direction while managing tasks independently
*Revit is not required, but a plus
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit for extended periods and work at a computer
Ability to travel to job sites and navigate uneven terrain and construction conditions
Must be able to climb stairs/ladders, lift up to 20 lbs, bend, and work in confined spaces as needed
