About the Role
Our client, a well-established property management company in San Diego, is seeking a temporary assistant property manager to support day-to-day operations across their residential portfolio. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, is highly organized, and has strong tenant-facing experience.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Property Manager with daily operations of assigned properties
Serve as a point of contact for tenants, handling inquiries, requests, and concerns in a timely and professional manner
Assist with leasing activities including scheduling tours, processing applications, and preparing lease agreements
Coordinate maintenance requests and follow up to ensure timely completion
Track rent payments, assist with collections, and maintain accurate tenant records
Help prepare reports, budgets, and general administrative documentation
Maintain compliance with company policies and local housing regulations
Support move-ins, move-outs, and unit inspections
Qualifications
1–3+ years of property management or real estate experience preferred
Strong customer service and communication skills
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Experience with property management systems (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio, or similar) is a plus
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Benefits Compensation for this role is determined based on a range of factors including skill sets, experience, training, licensure, office location, and other considerations. The salary range for the role is noted in the posting. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company’s 401(k) retirement plan.
