
Summer Internship - Real Estate

The Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM), which oversees over $2 billion in capital programs and projects, is responsible for capital planning, project delivery, property management, and real estate services for the Commonwealth. DCAMM’s Office of Real Estate Management (OREM) is hiring an intern to support the leasing and asset management team with document management, compliance tracking, lease administration, data research, and project coordination tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Review, update, and organize standard leasing templates and correspondence.
Assist with lease administration tasks, including preparing and updating lease abstracts and Notices of Lease.
Maintain and update internal tracking systems for lease expirations, project status, and compliance requirements.
Support occupancy tracking and assist with project documentation, including RFP and selection data.
Assist with landlord outreach for required documents such as as-built drawings, insurance certificates, and supporting materials.
Help organize documentation and assist with NNN audits and billing verification.
Update compliance lists and assist in monitoring lease and landlord compliance deadlines.
Assist with onboarding a new workplace reservation system and support internal implementation tasks.
Support maintenance of internal Excel models, including calling municipal building offices, refreshing data sources, and testing data quality.
Track and compile public comments on real estate dispositions.
Provide general administrative and research support to the team.
