Description
Mechanical Dynamics & Analysis (MD&A) is a steam turbine, gas turbine and generator full-service provider to support the needs of the power generation industry. We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Marketing Intern to support our Marketing Department to increase brand awareness.
PROJECTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Project assignments will support the Senior Marketing Manager. Responsibilities may include:
Digital Marketing: Social Media focus
Assist with creation and scheduling of posts to MD&A’s Social Media platforms after manager’s approval
Produce bi-weekly Social Media Employee Update Email
Digital Marketing: Research
Conduct keyword research aligned with business goals
Research best industry practices for SEO and AEO
Prepare weekly performance reports with insights and audit from SemRush and HubSpot
Competitor Analysis: Research competitor’s ads, online branding presence, & website
Conferences: Help prepare promotional items for upcoming summer/ fall tradeshows for Marketing Communications & Events Manager. Corporate Communications: Internal Employee Comms
Research best industry practices for “social network” for employees for Company-wide announcements, Leadership communication, New hire announcements and Employee communities
Assisting with Internal Employee Newsletter
Marketing Content
Support contacting employees for Q&A Spotlight
Generate four new, fun sticker designs for our customers
Digital Asset Management (DAM) help by uploading new photos and info on slides
Assist with Contacts clean up in database, receiving Marketing collateral & promotional items and fulfillment
Review Website and Spanish Website for any issues, errors or broken links.
Requirements
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Entering junior or senior year of Marketing or Communications program at an accredited college/university,
Experience with social media and content creation
MD&A's Marketing Internship is a 30 hours per week commitment starting in early June 2026 and ending mid-August 2026 (flexibility based on school schedule).
