How You'll Contribute
Provide acquisition expertise to the United States Space Force.
Collaborate with Financial Management of the Space Systems Command (SSC) to plan for out-year funding from Congressional appropriations to achieve mission readiness.
Write budgetary artifact documents for the PPBE process to submit to Pentagon leadership for Congressional budget request via National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) and Defense Budget appropriations.
Support Government Budget Analyst (BA) with the Presidents’ Budget, Budget Estimate Submission, and Spend Plan management including coordinating monthly spend plan meetings and drafting initial spend plan for the upcoming fiscal year.
Develop and document acquisition strategies for USSF, including Acquisition Strategy Documents (ASD), Market Research, Justification and Approval (J&A), Acquisition Strategy Panel (ASP) briefings and other strategic documentation.
Develop, implement, and continuously improve USSF acquisition processes.
Develop and maintain acquisition templates and training materials.
You Have
5+ years of experience with USSF acquisition processes
Experience executing DoD 5000.02 and DoD 5000.74 processes
Experience with SharePoint and Microsoft Office Suite
Experience communicating with contractors on behalf of the Government and working in the client environment demonstrating excellent client relationship skills
Knowledge of enterprise issues and FAR, DFARS, & AFFARS regulations
Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
Ability to clearly brief any level of leadership and provide constructive and actionable feedback
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree

Experience with USAF, USSF, and SSC budget planning and execution processes
Experience with DoD project management, acquisition, and sustainment
Experience with sustainment acquisition activities
