RQ Construction is seeking to hire multiple experienced
Mechanical and Piping Insulators
to support ongoing projects at
Camp Lejeune, NC . All work will take place on the military installation and is compensated in accordance with Davis‑Bacon prevailing wage requirements applicable to the base.
In this role, Insulators will install and apply insulation materials to piping systems, ductwork, and other mechanical components to regulate temperature and improve system efficiency. The position requires a solid understanding of mechanical systems, proper use of tools and equipment, and strict adherence to established safety standards, all in alignment with RQ Construction's Mission, Vision, and Values.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay Range: $19.19–$34.00 per hour

Education & Experience
High school diploma or G.E.D. is the minimal education required for this position. Should be supplemented by completion of a Union, private (in‑house), military, or trade school apprenticeship program that includes theory and on‑the‑job work.
4 or more years (or equivalent) field or trade work experience as a journey‑level mechanical piping insulator (an apprenticeship program) in a commercial or facilities operations setting is required; government, military, or large commercial construction experience.
