National Roving Assistant Regional Property Manager
Property Manager – Regional Columbus, Ohio
Responsibilities
Lead and step into properties immediately when management gaps arise.
Conduct deep‑dive site visits covering leasing, operations, financials and compliance.
Drive occupancy, rent growth and NOI performance across multiple assets.
Perform audits, inspections and operational assessments with precision.
Coach and elevate Property Managers to meet and exceed KPIs.
Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting and strategic decisions.
Handle complex resident issues and escalations, including those with legal exposure.
Ensure strict compliance with Fair Housing, OSHA and all regulations.
Influence team performance through training, accountability and leadership.
Step in when a team needs leadership and direction.
Improve performance quickly.
Qualifications
4+ years of multi‑family property management experience, with at least one year managing multiple sites.
Proven success managing multiple sites or a portfolio.
Strong financial expertise – understanding budgets, NOI and performance drivers.
Advanced knowledge of Fair Housing and property management compliance.
Experience with Yardi or a similar platform.
Track record of turning around underperforming assets.
Exceptional leadership presence and ability to gain respect quickly.
Highly organized, decisive and able to balance urgency with attention to detail.
Willing and able to travel extensively (up to 75%) and make extended stays.
Travel Expectations This is a road‑warrior role. You will travel three weeks at a time with one week off, across our nationwide portfolio, stepping into communities that need immediate leadership and operational support. Flexibility and adaptability are critical.
