Job Overview We’re looking for a highly creative and detail-oriented Creative Designer to support the visual storytelling of THE·TEAM’s soccer talent representation division. This role will be responsible for bringing THE·TEAM’s cross-disciplinary work across sports and marketing to life through compelling, on-brand design. If you’re passionate about the intersection of soccer and culture, this is a strong opportunity to make an impact.
These channels represent key areas of our business, so you’ll be expected to develop a strong understanding of our brand, talent roster, and partners. You’ll collaborate closely with social, marketing, and talent teams to create visually engaging content that communicates our voice and elevates our presence across platforms.
A major focus of this role will be translating client wins, partnerships, and insights into visually compelling, easy‑to‑digest creative—ranging from social graphics and infographics to motion and short‑form video assets. We operate in a fast‑paced environment, so the ideal candidate is someone who can execute quickly without sacrificing quality, thrives in a collaborative setting, and is equally comfortable working independently when needed.
What You'll Do Creative Design & Execution
Design high-quality, on-brand creative across social, digital, and marketing channels
Develop graphics, templates, and visual systems that ensure consistency across THE·TEAM’s soccer platforms
Execute a range of assets including player announcements, matchday content, brand partnerships, and marketing collateral
Support motion design and short‑form video editing as needed
Athlete & Cultural Storytelling
Translate player moments, partnerships, and milestones into visually compelling, social‑first creative
Collaborate with social, marketing, and talent teams to bring athlete narratives to life
Stay tapped into soccer culture, trends, and key moments to inform creative direction
Balance creativity with clarity to ensure content is both engaging and brand‑aligned
Brand & Collaboration
Maintain and evolve THE·TEAM’s visual identity across all touchpoints
Partner closely with internal teams to align creative with strategic and client goals
Apply feedback efficiently while upholding a high standard of design
Workflow & Project Management
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
Stay organized using project management tools (e.g., Asana) and maintain clear communication across teams
Continuously explore design trends, tools, and cultural moments to keep creative fresh and relevant
What We're Looking For
2+ years of experience in graphic design, preferably within an agency, brand, or sports/entertainment environment
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Marketing, or a related field
Strong portfolio showcasing digital, social, and brand design work
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and familiarity with motion tools (After Effects, Premiere Pro)
Experience designing for social platforms, with an understanding of best practices across Instagram, TikTok, and emerging channels
Ability to translate data and research into visually compelling, easy‑to‑understand graphics and layouts
Strong understanding of typography, layout, color, and visual storytelling
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality execution
High standard of excellence, with the flexibility to work non‑traditional hours when needed and anticipate challenges with thoughtful communication
Awareness of cultural trends across sports, music, and entertainment
Proficiency in Google Suite, Keynote, Slack, and Box
Base salary range: $70-82K, plus bonus potential if applicable for the role. Actual base salary is dependent on several factors including but not limited to market dynamics, location and region, experience, specialized skills/training, level of responsibility, budgetary considerations, tenure at the company (for current employees), etc. The salary range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
