As a Senior Commissioning Agent in our Gainesville office, you will help clients achieve energy‑efficient building solutions, saving global environments and creating a better, greener future.
Responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for resolving commissioning challenges and completing tasks such as developing and implementing commissioning process delivery plans based on project requirements, design documents, and user input.
Selected Qualifications
Technical or associate degree in HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, or architectural design, or construction engineering from an accredited institution; or equivalent experience.
Functional knowledge of building systems across disciplines (fire protection, HVAC, plumbing/piping, electrical, technology, instrumentation and controls, process and lighting).
Extensive knowledge of commissioning processes and delivery.
Fundamental knowledge of construction processes and project delivery models.
Understanding of applicable codes, standards, and specifications, and ability to interpret them.
Commissioning certification with a nationally recognized professional body.
Proficiency in applying technologies including computer/software, data loggers, test and measurement equipment.
Valid driver's license and state‑required vehicle insurance.
Required Skills

Ability to anticipate commission work and delegate appropriately.
Effective teamwork and mentoring skills.
Strong communication with clients, partners, and all organizational levels.
Decisive judgment that positively impacts commissioning.
Proficiency in accessing and interpreting design and contract instruments, including BIM models.
Safety training application and avoidance of unsafe work environments.
