We are seeking a detail-oriented
Data Specialist
to support the Instrumentation team within Operations. This role is primarily focused on
data entry, system updates, and record accuracy within CMMS platforms . The position is responsible for entering, updating, and maintaining maintenance and calibration data, ensuring all records are accurate, complete, and up to date. This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to manage priorities, and comfort working with databases in a structured, fast-paced environment. Position Overview
This role centers on
high-volume, detail-driven data entry and system maintenance
within a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). You will support operational workflows by ensuring calibration records, work orders, and asset data are properly entered and closed out in a timely manner. Success in this position comes from
accuracy, consistency, and strong data management discipline . Key Responsibilities
Input, update, and maintain data within CMMS systems related to instrumentation and maintenance activities Close out calibration records and ensure all associated documentation is properly recorded Monitor and process work requests and work orders within CMMS platforms Maintain accurate and organized asset and maintenance records in internal databases Perform high-volume data entry with a strong focus on accuracy and completeness Review data for errors or inconsistencies and resolve discrepancies as needed Support scheduling and prioritization of data updates to meet operational timelines Ensure compliance with internal documentation and record retention requirements Qualifications
Experience
Experience with CMMS platforms such as BMRAM, MAXIMO, or similar systems preferred Experience in manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or medical device environments is a plus Familiarity with database systems and data input processes Education
High School Diploma or GED required Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry Working knowledge of database systems and structured data environments Ability to manage workload, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to identify and resolve data discrepancies Comfortable working in a repetitive, process-driven role Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) Reliable, consistent, and able to work independently Onsite role within a manufacturing/operations environment May require movement within facility and interaction with technical teams Standard safety protocols and PPE may be required in certain areas Why Apply?
