Job Summary
Responsible for receiving, storing and issuing material/equipment and other items from the storage area, maintaining complete property records, and providing support to transportation as needed.

Duties

Stores items in an orderly and accessible manner in the storage area.

Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and the storage area.

Receives and counts stock items, and records data manually or using a property management system.

Maintains accountability of center property.

Assists in conducting on‑site property audits and reviews, including annual certifications.

Acts as a liaison with outside vendors.

Ensures all center equipment is in good condition and functional.

Labels center equipment using identification tags or other labeling equipment.

Verifies inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock and investigates discrepancies or adjusts errors.

Keeps accurate records of the use and/or damage of property.

Recommends disposal of excess, defective, and obsolete property to a Property Coordinator; issues or distributes equipment to center staff based on requisition forms.

Maintains records of purchases and submits documentation to the designated authority.

Maintains complete and accurate files and records according to center policy and procedure.

Ensures all equipment is properly maintained.

Assists in the safe transport of students/employees to designated locations in a timely, safe, and courteous manner as directed.

Completes all required documentation when in a driving role.

Adheres to all safety requirements and ensures all passengers wear seat belts.

Reports passenger incidents and accidents immediately to the supervisor.

Follows the CDSS/CSS plans and procedures daily.

Adheres to required property controls, policies, and procedures.

Complies with all DOL guidelines, OFCCP regulations, Job Corps notices and bulletins, and center policies and procedures.

Maintains good housekeeping in all areas and complies with safety practices.

Models, mentors, and monitors all career Success Standards.

Helps students become more employable through continuous reinforcement.

Participates in PRH mandated staff training.

Performs other duties as assigned within the individual's scope and capabilities.

Provides transportation service as directed.

Safely transports students/employees to designated locations in a timely, safe, and courteous manner.

Maintains driver’s logs and completes pre‑trip inspections.

Maintains a variety of records, such as time at each stop, purpose of trip, number of passengers on each trip, mileage, and vehicle maintenance.

Exercises independent judgment when handling unusual situations arising with passengers.

Assumes responsibility for care and maintenance of vehicles; washes vehicles and cleans interiors; takes vehicles to the garage for maintenance and repair.

Assists passengers in getting in and out of vehicles and provides other courtesies.

Performs periodic vehicle safety checks.

Requirements
Qualifications:

Experience:

A minimum of 1–2 years of inventory‑related experience is preferred. A clean driving record is required.

Education:

High School Diploma or GED certificate required. Associate’s degree in a related field preferred.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

State Driver’s License.
