Responsibilities
Unload and break down deliveries. Rotate stocks for freshness.
Be responsible for cutting, and trimming products into saleable sizes and for better presentation.
Handle spoiled products properly. Keep accurate logs in accordance with the policies of the company, state food safety, and health.
Follow the company policy to clean the walk‑in cooler, clean and sanitize tools, equipment, and counters in a safe manner, and maintain work areas clean.
Complete production process, quality control, and other techniques maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
Keep aisles and common walking areas clean / cleared of boxes and debris to prevent injury.
Perform other duties as for business needs.
Qualifications
No experience is required.
Be flexible with assigned working schedules.
Have a Food Handlers Card or willing to obtain one.
Must be self‑motivated, creative, and passionate about food.
Having strong time management, interpersonal skills, and teamwork.
Bilingual in Chinese or Spanish is preferred.
Ability to adapt to a cross‑cultural environment.
Ability to work weekends and early morning shifts.
Work Environment
Stand and walk for an extended period of time.
Repetitive use of hands for grasping, pushing, pulling, and fine manipulation.
Bend and twist neck and waist, reach above and below shoulders and squat.
Lifting items weighing 25 lbs or more with appropriate equipment.
Able to work occasionally with an environment temperature ranging from 32ºF to 50°F.
