Overview
Directs the strategic execution of multiple programs, understanding priorities and governing project lifecycle. Oversees annual planning of enterprise wide projects across programs and teams, tracking and oversight of program budget, including vendor management oversight. Directly supervises others, including Managers. Responsibilities
Directs the activities of Managers- Enterprise Program Office, Enterprise Program Managers, and Enterprise Project Managers. Oversight ofallreplanand roadmapactivitiesincluding buildingtetrisboards, execution roadmaps, gathering estimates, dependency management, clarity on inclusions/exclusions and creation of special content.Oversight of allprogramactivitiesrelated to project execution: Pre-SDLC/Funnel Management; Weekly Program meeting facilitation; Cross Team/Program Coordination; and All Project Activity, including Cost Management, Timeline/Burnups, Release Readiness, Product Readiness, Project Closure, and Project Walk-through. Createsand deliversPortfolio Review updates to Executive/Officer level across IT, Product, and Service. Managesthese updates as abenchmark ofsuccessincluding project status, exceptions, roadmap changes and impacts, and program financial health (cap/expense rates).In addition to accurately informing key stakeholders,these updates must be leveraged to influence, drive decisions and create an overall positiveimpression ofthePortfolio. Facilitatesroutine Portfolio leadership meetingswith senior level managers to disseminate all relevant information such as keydecisions, roadmap changes, impediments. Usesthese meetings to foster collaboration,influence stakeholders and drive improvements. Understands and communicates the priorities of the organization and how they relate to programs of responsibility. Applies advanced and comprehensive knowledge of theoretical project management and agile concepts, principles, and practices to provide training, performance reviews, and guidance to employees under direct and indirect supervision. Operates with considerable latitude for unreviewed actions or decisions. Establishes and maintains credibility across the organization by being competent, truthful,diplomatic, empathetic, succinct and decisive.Demonstrates the skills toinform, engage and advise othersin a clear and concise way. Understands the relationshipbetween strategy and communication tailoring content and delivery to achieve desiredresults. Acts as a catalyst for change in the organization, recognizing and taking on difficult problems by collaborating with partners across the enterprise. Directs the creation of program strategies to meet the needs of the business. Helps create vision for significant technology and business initiatives and is responsible for aligning project objectives with overall business and technology strategies. Responsible for driving changes to the project lifecycle to improve efficiency and reduce time to market. Develops and approves changes in standards and procedures for project and program. Maintains in-depth knowledge of the products and services within the programs of responsibility. Understands andable to speak to the scope of projects with the programs including the financial and strategicbenefit to theorganization. Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree - Required 10+ years of experience in management. In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the starting base pay range for this position is $125,500.00 - $197,100.00 annually. Please keep in mind that this range is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position. If you are hired at Paychex, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
