Your Future Role We are looking for a Product Management Professional (Medium Voltage Drives) to join our team in New Kensington, PA.
Primary Responsibilities
Ensure the top tier market position of Perfect Harmony GH180 Drives and lead and support various PLM activities throughout the life of the product.
Develop an intimate knowledge of global customer needs and competitors, identify global market trends and drivers, and formulate and implement a strategic marketing plan.
Develop good technical knowledge of all products and services, as well as a detailed understanding of the global marketplace.
Acquire global customer requirements and product specifications via market research activities, market analysis, and ongoing communication with global marketing and sales.
Enable successful development of new products and interact with cross‑functional project teams of engineering, quality, sales, and marketing specialists to develop impactful product launches.
Support activities related to product maintenance and product enhancements after product release, and support activities to improve the EBIT situation of products through cost reduction efforts.
Support product marketing and the creation of content for pre‑sales activities like catalogs, sales tools, and engineering manuals.
Handle product related market and competitor analyses.
10% domestic and international travel required.
Telecommuting permitted.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field and at least 7 years of experience.
Understanding of power electronics and medium voltage variable speed drives technology, applications and industries.
Knowledge of Voltage Source Inverters with Cascade H Bridge and Multicell Topology, with 2, 3 or 5 levels NPC (Neutral Point Clamped), and with Modular Multilevel Topology.
Knowledge of tools such as Polarion, AGT, PMD, SPC/IPC, and VFDnet.
Experience with SAP, SIRIUS, and Salesforce.
Knowledge of Lean and Agile development processes and methods.
Experience with different types of High Voltage and High Power Motors such as Squirrel Cage Induction Motors, Synchronous Motors, and Permanent Magnet Motors.
Compensation The pay range for this position is $121,189 – $135,000. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
