Job Description This role is the key contact for assigned accounts within a territory. It provides tactical sales direction and communication strategies to defend existing business and gain new business. This individual will work with stakeholders to implement business and marketing plans for assigned accounts. The role focuses on growth of an assigned territory, particularly expanding the share of wallet.

Drive For Results

Deliver sales goals including profitable year-over-year growth for the assigned territory.

Leverage knowledge of Amcor, its products, the industry and the competitive market to enable the business to win.

Increase business with existing and new accounts through prospecting and networking.

Manage the complexities of accounts in support of customer needs and effectively communicate these needs to the internal organization.

Orchestrate and support key business negotiations, supporting Amcor’s interests and demonstrating an ability to influence decisions and actions.

Relationship Management

Grow relationships with customers based on trust and respect, enhancing the ability to have proactive and complex conversations.

Build collaborative relationships between Amcor and account stakeholders, including leadership, marketing, R&D, with a view of enhancing sales initiatives and profitability while meeting customer needs.

Build and leverage cross‑functional relationships to support share‑of‑wallet growth strategies and the commercialization and onboarding process with other key areas (both internal and external).

Network externally to become familiar with key influencers and collaborators within the industry, focusing on co‑packers, machine suppliers, OEMs, and industry associations.

Stakeholder Engagements

Coordinate Sales Management, R&D, Marketing, and Field Service in support of validation trials and customer trials.

Manage accounts receivable at acceptable levels with assistance from the credit department.

Work with Strategic Marketing to identify actions to meet strategic unmet customer needs.

Collaborate cross‑functionally on the implementation of defined strategy (technology, product management, commercial) for the market and targeted segments with leadership support.

Reporting

Report and communicate current performance achievements in terms of sales and marketing contribution to the business unit for monthly management reporting.

Drive forecast accuracy for improved business results.

Recognize competitive insights in marketing strategies, pricing structures, or product performance and communicate intelligence to stakeholders.

Responsible for the management of account planning, pipeline management, profitability improvements, and churn management in the CRM tool.

What We Want From You

Bachelor’s Degree.

2+ years of direct sales experience required; relevant experience in technical sales within the packaging industry preferred.

Experience working in a large‑scale business‑to‑business environment.

Ability to travel domestically & internationally 60% of the time.

Compensation The starting salary for this position is expected to be between $98,000 and $122,500; however, base pay may vary within the full salary range of $98,000 to $147,000 depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. The salary range reflects the anticipated base pay for this role at the time of posting and may be adjusted based on jurisdictional pay transparency requirements.
