Golf Course Equipment Operator
Performing work in use of large equipment, including tractors, loaders, trenchers, backhoes, trucks and other golf course maintenance equipment, in close coordination with the Golf Course Superintendent. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Wisp Resort is a four-season ski, golf and recreational destination resort. Because of the nature of the resort business, employees may be asked to perform other duties outside of the job description. Also, hours of operation are 24/7 including weekends and holidays. Specific Duties & Responsibilities: Level 1 NE02 Mows fairways and roughs. Operates all types of equipment. May also operate smaller equipment, such as string trimmer, backpack blower and small hand tools. Ensures that the equipment cooling system is working at all times; refills fuel and oil daily; cleans equipment daily; and reports equipment problems or failures to Golf Course Equipment Maintenance Manager immediately. Provides basic preventive maintenance on equipment as directed by Golf Course Equipment Maintenance Manager and/or Golf Course Superintendent, and returns equipment to the designated location at the maintenance facility. Exhibits a working knowledge of safe, efficient mechanical operation of motorized equipment, and of the game of golf to understand how job performance affects the playing conditions of the golf course. Specific Duties & Responsibilities: Level 2 NE03 All duties of a Level 1 Golf Course Equipment Operator. Operates turf vac, skip-loader, aerifiers. Exhibits a working knowledge of safe, efficient mechanical operation of tractors. Specific Duties & Responsibilities: Level 3 NE04 All duties of a Level 1 and Level 2 Golf Course Equipment Operator. Increased accountability (team/crew). Qualifications:
