
Continuous Improvement Manager I

Position Overview
This position is responsible for providing leadership, direction, and functional expertise to the Plant for loss analysis, analytics and training systems. This position supports the Plant Leadership Team in the JTE (Journey to Excellence) strategy focused on building Employee capability, providing data reliability system and driving Employee engagement through implementation of high-performance work systems to achieve exceptional business results.
Key Responsibilities 40% – Implementation and Coaching
Implement and coach effective JTE systems.
Coach direct reports and site employees and SMEs on methodology and tools: Basic performance data and trends, problem solving, autonomous maintenance.
30% – Data and Analytics
Lead site Data and Analytics.
Maintain integrity of site data through training, health checks, and change control. Focus includes scorecards, downtime database, manual tracking systems and SAP master data.
Provide analysis and insights to key performance metrics like Process Reliability, Productivity, Yield and Scrap.
Create and execute site Analytics strategy.
Establish scorecard and KPI review processes based on the appropriate frequency and participants.
Drive data-based decision-making behavior at all levels.
15% – Loss Analysis
Create visibility to Loss Data.
Own Loss Analysis program to support site’s OGSM and budget targets.
Help prioritize loss reduction projects in collaboration with the site leadership team.
Provide supporting data analysis and justifications for technology improvements, capital expenditures and feasibility studies.
Lead site Focused Improvement pillar.
15% – Focused Improvement
Owner of loss analysis and site improvement initiatives.
Engage in design and implementation of site systems, utilizing the team to drive improvement of systems.
Required Qualifications
Level of Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
Minimum of 3 years working in manufacturing operations with functional/industry/commercial knowledge and business acumen.
Background in Total Productive Maintenance / Lean, Change Management and Organizational Effectiveness.
Experience in a CPG manufacturing – preferred.
Team and Operations Leadership experience – preferred.
Familiarity with creating reports using SAP Hana, Tableau or other BI tools.
Experience analyzing complex datasets, generating insights and building robust statistical models. Comfortable working with structured and unstructured data.
Strong analytical skills; ability to analyze complex information to make judgments and decisions. Data‑intensive and detail focused.
Excellent interpersonal skills – leadership, interactions, communication and influence.
Change Management expertise – ability to create people change plans for strategic initiatives and influence high‑risk changes.
Customer focus – create intra‑plant collaboration across operations, functional areas and support areas.
Other skills and HPO competencies: vision and organizational purpose, strategy development & deployment, effective decision making, project/program management, financial acumen.
