What You’ll Be Doing

Lead Design for Core Experiences Own end-to-end design for core product areas, shaping user journeys across onboarding, engagement, decision‑making, and financial access experiences.

Translate complex fintech logic into intuitive, accessible experiences.

Design for mobile‑first experience.

Designing for internal web‑based tools is a plus.

Drive Discovery and Strategy

Partner with Product, Data, Engineering and Research to frame the right problems, validate hypotheses, and shape the roadmap.

Conduct and synthesize user research, A/B tests, and behavioral insights to drive decisions.

Explore divergent ideas quickly through low‑fi prototypes, then refine into high‑fidelity UI.

Collaborate Cross‑Functionally

Work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Growth, Risk, and Marketing teams from ideation to ship.

Build alignment and advocate for design excellence within your squad and across the company.

Communicate design rationale with clarity and confidence from product reviews to C‑level presentations.

Influence Systems & Culture

Contribute to our evolving Design System, UX patterns, and behavior‑driven design guidelines.

Coach junior designers and help foster a high‑performance, feedback‑driven design culture.

Advocate for ethical, inclusive design and data transparency.

Skills Knowledge & Expertise
What We’re Looking For

Must‑Haves:

4‑5 years of experience designing digital products, ideally in fintech, marketplaces, or high‑growth B2C apps.

A strong portfolio demonstrating systems thinking, user flows, and UI polish for mobile apps.

Experience designing in cross‑functional squads with PMs, engineers, & researchers.

Solid command of Figma, prototyping tools, and design systems.

Deep empathy for users across different income levels, literacy backgrounds, & tech savviness.

Ability to distill complex financial concepts into simple, confident UX.

Fluency in behavioral design, UX best practices, & accessibility principles.

Bonus Points:

Experience in growth design, onboarding optimization, or retention‑focused UX.

Familiarity with BJ Fogg’s Behavior Model, or HOOK model.

Prior work in credit, savings, or lending products in emerging markets.

English language skills are required.
