Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Supervision:
Directs field crews, coordinates daily tasks, and mentors apprentices or junior technicians.
Technical Expertise:
Installs, repairs, and maintains pipes, fixtures, and water/gas/drainage systems in compliance with local codes.
Project Management:
Interprets blueprints, estimates jobs, lays out work, and manages materials and equipment.
Quality & Safety Control:
Inspects work to ensure quality standards and adheres strictly to safety protocols.
Communication:
Communicates with clients, general contractors, and project managers to ensure customer satisfaction and project timelines.
Troubleshooting:
Diagnoses complex plumbing issues and determines the necessary materials and costs.
Qualifications
Licensure:
Active Journeyman or Master Plumber license, depending on state or local requirements.
Experience:
Generally 4+ years of experience in residential or commercial plumbing.
Skills:
Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and blueprint-reading skills.
Knowledge:
Comprehensive understanding of plumbing codes and safety regulations.
