We launched on March 26, 2025, and sold out in under 24 hours. Now, we’re on a mission to take this brand to the next level, and we’re looking for a Trade Marketing Intern to help us make that happen.
About this role
Reporting to our Director of Integrated Marketing, the Trade Marketing Intern will support trade marketing efforts that drive POV Beauty’s retail presence and sell-through performance across wholesale partners. The ideal candidate will be strategic, detail-oriented, and interested in the retail side of the beauty industry. This role will contribute to POV Beauty by strengthening retailer relationships, optimizing in-store execution, and supporting the strategies that maximize sell-through at key retail partners.
Key Responsibilities
Help develop retail marketing materials including planograms, POS displays, and sell sheets
Assist with retailer-specific promotional planning and co-op marketing programs
Track and analyze retail sell-through data by account, region, and SKU
Support the coordination of in-store sampling events and demo programs
Research competitor retail strategies and shelf positioning
Help maintain the trade marketing calendar and retailer communication timelines

Capstone Project
Each Intern will be required to complete a capstone project. For this intern the project is: Create a retail activation proposal for a key retail partner, including in-store experience concept, promotional timeline, and projected sell-through impact.
Requirements
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a bachelor’s or master’s program in Marketing, Business, Retail Management, or a related field
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for data tracking and reporting
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for managing multiple retailer timelines
Interest in retail strategy, merchandising, and the beauty industry
Strong communication skills for coordinating with cross-functional teams and retail partners
Ability to work independently and manage projects in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
Previous internship or work experience in trade marketing, retail marketing, or merchandising
Familiarity with retail analytics platforms or sell-through reporting tools
Understanding of retailer dynamics for beauty account retailers
Experience with visual merchandising, planogram creation, or in-store activations
