Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will lead the estimating process for various construction projects, focusing on commercial interiors and hospitality sectors. This role requires a strong background in construction estimation and a keen understanding of project requirements to deliver accurate and competitive bids.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the preparation of accurate cost estimates for construction projects in the hospitality and commercial interiors sectors. Analyze project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work and required materials. Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to gather necessary information for estimates. Review and assess subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure cost-effectiveness and compliance with project requirements. Prepare and present detailed estimates to management and stakeholders, highlighting key assumptions and risks. Monitor project budgets and timelines to ensure estimates align with project progression and costs. Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and costs to maintain competitiveness in bidding. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience as an estimator in the construction industry, with a focus on commercial interiors and hospitality projects. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex blueprints and specifications. Proficient in estimating software and tools, with a solid understanding of construction methodologies and processes. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
