UI/UX Developer
for a long-term contract opportunity with one of our direct clients in the
Richmond, VA
area. *This is an on-site position *LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY* Job Description: The agency will be modernizing the flagship cloud-hosted (OCI) application BADGE from the current desktop version to a web-based version. Ideal candidate will need to be able to understand the code in the current desktop application to migrate to the new web-based application. You will be working closely with our lead developers to take ownership of a given module and provide guidance to the other contractors. Knowledge and Experience Expert knowledge of systems development and design using Visual Studio .Net Expert knowledge in developing ASP.NET, Web Services and Web applications in .Net Expert knowledge of .Net technologies (Visual Basic, C#, .Net Framework) Experience working in MVC, JavaScript, jQuery, jQuery Unobtrusive Validation, HTML, and CSS Experience working with WinForms / WPF Forms Experience working with RDBMS and writing complex SQL queries. Experience working with Oracle and PL/SQL Required Skills: 6 Years - Advanced knowledge in developing ASP.Net, MVC, Web Services and Web applications in .Net 6 Years - .NET Framework/ C#/ VB 6 Years - ORACLE / SQL / PLSQ 6 Years - Bootstrap / jQuery / JavaScript 6 Years - HTML / XML / CSS 6 Years - jQuery Unobtrusive Validation 6 Years - TFS / GIT Source Control 3 Years - WinForms / WPF Forms Desired Skills: 3 Years - Angular/React
This position is available on a corp to corp basis or as a W2 position with a competitive benefits package.
