GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION This position is responsible for researching, listing, and providing accurate descriptions of donations that are selected to be sold through various online auction sites. Must meet or exceed the listing daily production goals. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Ensures work activities are being completed efficiently while maintaining compliance with all safety standards; ensures staff is adhering to all safety expectations and requirements for the workplace with an emphasis on neatness, cleanliness, and organization. This duty is performed daily. Research items selected to be listed to ensure listing accuracy. Using web-based software to list our items on various auction sites. Expected to meet or exceed established daily quotas. This duty is performed daily. Performs accurate initial sort and grading of donations to be listed. Supervises and performs posting of donations into the inventory system, shelving, and order processing. This duty is performed daily. Works with management in identifying and addressing any quality control issues. This duty is performed weekly. Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, people served, co-workers and management. This duty is performed daily. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned. This duty is performed daily. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High school or GED, plus specialized schooling and/or on-the-job education in a specific skill area; e.g. data processing, clerical/administrative, equipment operation, etc, plus 0 to 6 months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. SOFTWARE SKILLS REQUIRED Basic: 10-Key, Other, Spreadsheet, Word Processing/Typing PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES The following physical activities described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
