Assistant Property Manager
Silver Tree Residential, LLC is one of the fastest growing property management companies in the industry. Our primary goal is to provide the best quality housing possible to our residents with safe, quiet, and amenity filled communities. We are looking for a dedicated and upbeat Assistant Property Manager to join our growing team in the Bay Area. Redwood Seniors of Willow Glen, a 140-unit Senior apartment complex, is located in the historic and upscale district of Willow Glen, "San Jose's Local Treasure." This is a rare opportunity to work in one of the most exclusive neighborhoods in the area. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Utilize and maintain all data in OneSite property management system. Efficiently process and file forms and documents as necessary, maintaining confidentiality of personnel and residents. Maintain thorough knowledge of lease terms, specifications, amenities, rates, sizes, and locations of property and all community policies. Present property and provide amenities in a positive light to prospective tenants Advertise available units using a variety of media and promoting materials Develop full knowledge of application information required, screening processes and policies regarding rentals. Conduct all initial certifications, annual re-certifications, and interim certifications. Audit all move-in files and assist with move-in certifications and qualifications as required by HUD. EIV reporting and investigations. MOR Audit preparations. Prepare and execute all required notices, interviews, verifications of household information, and completion of the Tenant Income Certifications. Qualified candidates will have: A minimum of 2 years of experience in leasing apartment communities Knowledge of HUD, Section 8, and/or LIHTC Accomplished interpersonal skills; capable of dealing effectively with employees, residents, vendors and co-workers; along with excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong leadership and customer service skills To ensure STR gets the best candidates, we offer a competitive salary and benefit package: Comprehensive health insurance package, including medical, dental, vision, life, accident, disability, critical care, etc. Medical reimbursement, up to $2,000 401(k) retirement package with 50% employer match Silver Tree Residential is an Equal Opportunity Employer and Drug-Free Workplace.
