All candidates must complete an on-line application to be considered.**JOB SUMMARY:**The Director of Product Engineering PMO within the Global Technology Organization (GTO) is responsible for leading a team of project management professionals supporting the Product Engineering function. This role partners closely with Product Engineering leadership to drive the successful delivery of prioritized initiatives across key platforms, including web, mobile, reservation systems, CRM, data warehouse, and marketing technology.Reporting to the VP of GTO Portfolio Management, this position plays a critical role in aligning delivery execution with strategic roadmaps, ensuring effective prioritization, and embedding strong program governance. The Director will also assume responsibilities traditionally held by delivery coaches, ensuring teams operate efficiently within Agile and hybrid delivery models.**POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:*** Lead and manage a team of project/program managers supporting Product Engineering initiatives across multiple technology domains.* Partner with Product Engineering leadership to support planning, prioritization, and execution of product roadmaps and enhancements.* Participate in prioritization forums with business and technology stakeholders to ensure alignment on scope, sequencing, and delivery expectations.* Establish and maintain PMO governance, standards, and best practices to drive consistent, high-quality delivery outcomes.* Oversee end-to-end delivery of strategic initiatives, ensuring timelines, budgets, risks, and dependencies are effectively managed.* Step into delivery coach responsibilities by guiding teams on Agile practices, removing impediments, and improving team velocity and predictability.* Provide visibility into program health, including status reporting, risk management, and executive communications.* Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, QA, and business stakeholders to ensure successful product delivery.* Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes, tools, and team performance.* Ensure alignment between PMO activities and broader GTO portfolio management objectives.**KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:**

**EDUCATION:*** Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field of study**EXPERIENCE:*** Experience in project/program management, with a significant portion supporting product engineering or technology delivery organizations.* Proven leadership experience managing and developing project management teams.* Strong background in Agile, Scrum, and hybrid delivery methodologies, including hands-on experience in delivery coaching or similar roles.* Experience working with complex technology ecosystems, including reservation, web, mobile, CRM, data platforms, and marketing technology.

Direct experience with cruise line systems, particularly reservation systems, is strongly preferred.* Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale, cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced environment.* Experience partnering with senior leadership on roadmap planning, prioritization, and execution.**KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:*** Strong leadership and team management capabilities with a focus on coaching and development.* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.* Deep understanding of Agile principles and the ability to apply them pragmatically across teams.* Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a results-oriented mindset.* Ability to manage competing priorities and navigate ambiguity effectively.* Expertise in program governance, risk management, and delivery oversight.* Strategic thinking with the ability to connect delivery execution to broader business objectives.* Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and other portfolio/project management platforms.* Domain knowledge of cruise industry systems and processes, especially reservations, is a significant advantage.**ABOUT NCLH**
