Penney - - Responsibilities: Observe store activities to detect theft, fraud, or suspicious behavior and collect investigative evidence; Follow AP directives and company policy when making apprehensions and document all stages of investigations; Conduct external interviews with customers and contractors suspected of theft in accordance with local laws; Report suspected fraud and policy infractions to AP or store leadership; Create and manage records for apprehensions, witness statements, evidence retention, and disposition of recovered merchandise; Assist with internal investigations as needed and serve as interview witness; Proactively identify potential acts of theft and fraud through observation and analysis of reports; Investigate Suspicious behavior and update files with outcomes; maintain relationships with local law enforcement; Travel to stores as necessary
