Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced
Oracle WMS Functional Consultant
to support warehouse and manufacturing operations through effective configuration and implementation of Oracle WMS solutions.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in
Oracle Manufacturing and Warehouse Management , with a deep understanding of end-to-end work order execution and material flow processes within WMS-enabled environments.Key Responsibilities1. Functional Expertise & Implementation Configure and implement
Oracle WMS functionalities
to support warehouse operations Design and set up:
Picking rules and strategies Task types and execution flows Warehouse configurations aligned to business needs
Ensure seamless integration between
WMS and Manufacturing modules 2. Manufacturing & Material Flow Integration Support
end-to-end work order execution
processes Manage and optimize material demand transactions, including:
Reservation Material issue Backflush Consumption from WMS-enabled warehouses
Ensure accurate and timely material supply to production 3. Documentation & Analysis Gather and document business requirements Conduct
fit-gap analysis
and propose optimized solutions Prepare:
Business Requirement Documents (BRD) Functional specifications Process flow diagrams
4. Testing & Deployment Support Develop and execute:
Test scripts System Integration Testing (SIT) User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Provide support during
go-live and hypercare phases Troubleshoot and resolve issues across testing cycles 5. Training & Stakeholder Collaboration Create
end-user training materials
and conduct training sessions Collaborate with business users, IT teams, and cross-functional stakeholders Ensure smooth adoption of WMS processes and solutions Required Skills & Qualifications
Functional & Technical Expertise Strong hands-on experience in
Oracle WMS configuration and transactions Deep understanding of:
Warehouse processes (picking, task management, execution flows) Manufacturing integration with WMS
Experience with:
Oracle Manufacturing (Work Orders) Inventory Management Shipping Execution
Core Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent documentation and communication abilities Ability to work in a
fast-paced, onsite environment Experience supporting large-scale implementations Key Deliverables Business Requirement Documents (BRD) & Fit-Gap Analysis WMS Configuration (rules, strategies, task types) Test Scripts & UAT Support Training Materials & User Enablement Issue Resolution during SIT/UAT and Go-Live Ideal Candidate Profile Hands-on functional consultant with strong manufacturing + WMS integration experience Detail-oriented with a focus on operational accuracy Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Able to work onsite and collaborate closely with business teams
