Vice President of Marketing

A Portfolio Company of Tenex Capital Management is seeking a Vice President of Marketing. The VP of Marketing will be responsible for building and scaling a data-driven, omnichannel revenue engine across digital marketing, AI Optimization (AIO), brand, outreach, and face-to-face consumer engagement. This role owns the strategy, execution, and performance management of all marketing functions, ensuring growth initiatives are innovative, measurable, compliant, and aligned with operational capacity in a multi-site/state services environment.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve budgeted Client Acquisition Cost (CAC) annually.
  • Achieve budgeted distribution of leads across all channels of growth.
  • Lead customer acquisition efforts through targeted campaigns across various channels, including search engine optimization (SEO), pay-per-click (PPC), social media, email marketing, and more.
  • Analyze customer behavior and market trends to drive data-driven decisions and enhance marketing performance.
  • Provide ongoing support for partners including optimization information, seasonal trends, and network highlights.
  • Define and maintain success metrics, dashboards, and reporting cadence across all channels.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor the annual marketing and growth plan, tied to clearly defined outcomes.
  • Own short and long-term marketing budgets, forecasting ROI and providing regular performance updates.
  • Lead annual market analysis, performance reviews, and opportunity assessments.
  • Set, execute, monitor and update strategy for company branding, advertising, digital media, communications, and media relations.
  • Lead digital demand generation and B2C digital acquisition with clear performance targets.
  • Own and advance the organization’s AI Optimization (AIO) strategy, ensuring discoverability across AI-driven search, recommendation, and conversational platforms.
  • Drive innovation in marketing and growth, including experimentation with emerging channels, AI-enabled tools, personalization, and evolving attribution models.
  • Ensure marketing systems, data flows, and measurement frameworks accurately track performance, conversion, and ROI.
  • Own strategy and performance for outreach-led growth.
  • Drive online and offline brand awareness / presence and loyalty by developing campaigns that resonate with target audiences, building long-term relationships with customers.
  • Align outreach messaging with brand, digital, and AI-optimized narratives.
  • Partner with regional leadership teams to align growth strategies with local market needs.
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
  • Develop and execute training programs to ensure that the team stays up to date with the latest marketing trends, tools, and techniques.
  • Allocate resources effectively, ensuring that team members have the support and tools they need to succeed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required. Master’s degree in business or marketing preferred.
  • 10+ years of senior leadership in a marketing role.
  • Proven experience owning measurable growth and revenue outcomes.
  • Deep expertise in digital marketing, analytics, attribution, and performance management.
  • Experience leading innovation in AI, automation, or emerging growth channels.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including MS Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint; MS Outlook and Internet Explorer.
