Customer Service Representative I - Genetics

* Greets, directs and assists all customers.* Determines the needs of the customer and responds accordingly, seeking assistance or additional resources when necessary.* Responds promptly to customer's concerns and follow up when applicable. May provide information on department products available for purchase and process transactions.* Responsible for main department telephones lines and email account.* Responsible for the appearance of the reception area and front desk area. Must be kept neat and well stocked with supplies utilized by customers and staff.* Maintains files.* Maintains and updates a variety of data sets used in assisting the department in evaluating its operational performance.
