Location: New York City, NY, US
Summer & Fall 2026: 18 Weeks (with potential for full-time conversion)
Pay: $25.00/hour
Location: Hybrid: 3 days in NYC office, 2 remote working days
Edgewell Personal Care is hiring a Community & Content Intern to support our growing social media presence for our Body & Skin brands. The ideal candidate is interested and immersed in the world of social, has strong communication and relationship‑building skills, and is excited about collaborating with the team on content ideation and development.
We are looking for a creative, out‑of‑the‑box thinker to elevate our social presence and help insert our brands into relevant conversations and trending moments. This candidate will be responsible for supporting execution on the brands’ social channels as it pertains to content development and community interaction. Additionally, this candidate will assist in partnership identification, creator outreach and high‑level competitive analysis. This role will require full immersion into each brand – it’s products, consumers & competitors.
This role will support Comms and Social Strategists across multiple brands. The intern will contribute to both day‑to‑day execution and forward‑thinking ideas, helping evolve how our brands show up across platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Support content development and execution across TikTok and Instagram (short‑form video, static, captions, etc.)
Assist in community management, including monitoring comments, DMs, and engaging in a timely, brand‑right voice
Identify and track trending moments, formats, and cultural conversations, translating them into actionable ideas
Support creator and partnership research, including identifying relevant influencers and emerging talent
Assist with content calendar management and publishing workflows
Conduct competitive analysis and share insights on how our brands can stand out
Required Skills and Experience
Currently enrolled or recently graduated from a bachelor’s program with a recommended focus on digital marketing
Immersed in the social media landscape with a pulse on trends & platform updates
Well‑versed in all key social channels/platforms and their respective best practices
Proven understanding of and ability to analyze platform‑specific content performance metrics
Ability to create engaging social‑first, short‑form videos
Comfortable being on camera and speaking directly to camera
Experience with video‑editing apps (Splice, Capcut, Magisto, Vixer, iMovie, etc.)
Ability to adapt to and execute against distinct brand voices across multiple brands and audiences
Self‑motivated and adaptable, able to work independently and as part of a team
Extremely detail‑oriented, "no task is too small" attitude
Interview Process Note Applicants will be asked to:
Submit a social‑first video they’ve concepted and created
Respond to a creative prompt, showcasing how they would approach community engagement and real‑time content
Present how they would improve a recent brand post or campaign (brand can provide a sample post for them to ideate against)
