What youll be doing
Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to prepare detailed estimates
Perform material takeoffs and calculate labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs
Develop accurate and competitive bid proposals
Work closely with project managers, vendors, and subcontractors
Evaluate bids, identify risks, and adjust pricing strategies
Track costs, market pricing, and industry trends to stay competitive
What to expect

High level of ownership in winning and pricing work
What you need
3+ years of experience in construction estimating (commercial preferred)
Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
Experience with estimating software (PlanSwift, Bluebeam, or similar)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines
