
Fountain Installer (PES)

This position delivers and installs vending/fountain equipment as needed. The role uses lifting and equipment to load/unload and move large fountain machines/units at customer accounts. It prepares equipment for delivery and maintains all paperwork associated with equipment installation and removal. The candidate installs fountain beverage systems from start to finish and may assist with moving, storing, and organizing equipment in inventory at the facility. This position requires lifting, pushing/pulling and moving vending/fountain machines that weigh approximately 800–1200 pounds several times during a 10‑12 hour period.
Responsibilities
Unload and load new and used vending/fountain equipment for daily delivery.
Install vending/fountain equipment and load/reload with products as necessary.
Repair and perform preventative maintenance on vending/fountain equipment.
Educate customers on basic equipment repair and upkeep procedures.
Collect accurate and complete equipment information.
Maintain parts, tools, and equipment.
Follow DOT regulations.
Complete required paperwork and maintain accurate customer/work‑order records for each delivery.
Transport miscellaneous items such as compressors for repair/scrap, cardboard for recycle, etc.
Install and adjust to proper mix of product.
Establish positive customer relationships.
Maintain regular, reliable, predictable attendance.
Basic Qualifications
At least 18 years of age; 21 or older if CDL required.
Valid U.S. CDL license with non‑excepted interstate status (if applicable).
Pass DOT physical and DOT Road Test (if applicable).
Ability to communicate effectively in English if CDL required.
Ability to follow DOT regulations.
Note: In all California locations except Stockton, both non‑excepted intrastate and non‑excepted interstate status are accepted for this position. In Stockton, CA, only non‑excepted interstate status is accepted.
Helpful Experience
Experience working with mechanical systems, troubleshooting and repairing appliances, performing basic household repairs (e.g., plumbing, circuits, fuses, electrical components), and operating hand tools and power tools.
Experience generating and setting work schedules, determining priority of work projects, building schedules, and scheduling tasks during the day.
Experience operating trucks requiring a CDL Class B license, including basic driving functions and maneuvering in tight spaces.
Experience serving customers, resolving customer issues, ensuring communication with store managers, and following up on customer requests.
Experience completing basic paperwork (e.g., filling out documentation, timecards, mileage records).
