This contract-based, hourly consulting role is ideal for an expert in Pennsylvania’s property tax protest system who can serve as a trusted advisor during our early market entry. For the right candidate, this position could evolve into a broader partnership helping us expand our property tax solution in Pennsylvania.
What You’ll Do As our Property Tax Appeals Consultant, you will support Abode Money’s team by providing:
Regulatory Insight:
Clarify state statutes, administrative processes, and compliance obligations for property tax protests.
County-Specific Knowledge:
Advise on unique requirements and nuances for major Pennsylvania counties.
Filing Processes:
Guide us on when and how to file petitions (TRIM notices, deadlines, evidence)—including online versus paper submission requirements.
Hearing Procedures:
Share best practices and insights to support hearing preparation and protest strategy.
Who We’re Looking For You are an ideal fit if you:
Have direct experience in the Pennsylvania property tax system—through your own practice, as part of a firm, or within local government.
Are deeply familiar with county-specific procedures, deadlines, and rules, especially for Pennsylvania’s five largest counties.
Possess an innovative mindset—ready to find creative solutions while fully adhering to local guidelines.
Are available to consult on an as‑needed, hourly basis via phone or Zoom.
