Pre-Opening Sales and Leasing Consultant Opportunity - North Austin Nissan

North Austin Nissan is the first open point dealership in company history for Continental Automotive Group! We are a locally owned family‑operated company with locations in North/Central Austin and San Juan, TX. We offer paid training, performance reviews, and upward mobility.

This individual will be onboarded and complete training at our First Texas Honda dealership and then move to North Austin Nissan once the store opens on June 1st!

Why apply to North Austin Nissan? We provide intensive paid sales training for a customer‑centric buying experience and a full benefit program. Sales experience is preferred, but not required. We offer a $4,000 per month training pay guaranteed to provide financial security throughout the training process.

Job Duties include but are not limited to:

Identify customers’ needs and buying motivations and pair them with the correct vehicle, conduct product presentations, perform demonstration drives, and ask customers to purchase the vehicle.

Constantly improve vehicle and process knowledge and educate the customer on products and processes.

Assist customers at initial contact, provide professional follow‑up, and support after the purchase.

Track customers through meticulous input of information into a database; follow up by phone, email, and documentation of all communication.

Learn and understand vehicle financing and be comfortable presenting financing options to customers.

Advance to an elite product specialist role, taking the customer from initial greeting through the entire sales experience, presenting all ancillary financial products, and signing all purchase documents.

Paperwork/Reporting Duties:

Meticulous eye for detail in all paperwork.

Creation of purchase agreements, appraisal information, credit applications, and all other documentation.

Strict adherence to all local, state, and federal reporting guidelines.

Employee Requirements:

Education – Associate or Bachelors degree preferred.

Prior automotive sales experience preferred.

Strong verbal and written communication ability, strong listening skills, ability to take instruction and follow direction, punctuality, customer focus, and a growth mindset.

Must have held a valid driver’s license for at least 1 year and have a clean driving record, social security card, completed job application, and completion of drug screening.

Must be at least 18 years of age to be considered.

English/Spanish bilingualism is a plus.

Provide exemplary customer service.

Store Hours:

Monday through Saturday 9am‑8pm.

Closed on Sundays.

Compensation:

$4,000 per month training pay guaranteed.

Commission based.
