Senior Marketing Coordinator – West Region
At HDR, we are committed to creating a welcoming environment where each employee is valued and respected. We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic marketer to join our West Region marketing team, focusing on proposal development for Hawaii in the power, solid waste, and industrial market sectors.
Responsibilities
Develop persuasive proposal documents and interview materials that showcase engineering capabilities.
Lead the creation, organization, and production of proposals, ensuring alignment with brand standards and templates.
Collaborate with marketing coordinators, project managers, technical staff, business development leads, and pursuit teams.
Write and edit non‑technical text for marketing communications, ensuring clarity, messaging, and persuasiveness.
Lead the development of interview presentation materials and coach interview teams.
Conduct market sector research and competitor analysis; develop winning strategies and message development for pursuits.
Prepare, update, and organize data in company systems, including pursuit information, project profiles, and marketing files.
Coordinate conference attendance and sponsorships and support business development teams in marketing strategy and pursuit capture planning.
Train and mentor team members on business development and marketing best practices.
Perform other duties as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
At least 4 years of experience leading competitive A/E/C proposals.
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
Deep knowledge of the A/E/C industry’s standard procurement approach for professional services.
Ability and desire to engage with others in person.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years relevant industry experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including InDesign.
Self‑starter with a history of completing projects with limited oversight.
