The Colorado Rapids Marketing Operations Intern will support the execution and coordination of the club’s marketing initiatives across multiple teams within the Marketing department, including Revenue Marketing, Digital & Social Media, and Experiential & Match Presentation.
This role is designed to provide a well-rounded experience across the department, assisting with campaign coordination, content support, and matchday production. The intern will help ensure alignment across marketing initiatives while supporting the day-to-day operational needs of the Marketing Operations team.
Examples of work performed:
Support coordination and execution of club marketing campaigns promoting matches, ticket initiatives, and theme nights
Help organize marketing assets and ensure materials are distributed to appropriate internal and external partners
Provide general administrative and operational support to the marketing team
Assist with development of marketing copy for email campaigns, promotional materials, and website content
Work with ticket sales, revenue marketing, and social & digital teams to compile campaign metrics into monthly reports.
Support planning and execution of theme nights, promotions, and marketing activations
Assist with marketing research, fan engagement initiatives, and promotional planning
Assist with creation of content for the club’s social media platforms (Instagram, X/Twitter, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube)
Support live digital coverage on matchdays, including pre-match buildup, in-game updates, and post-match content
Assist with tracking social media performance and digital engagement metrics
Assist with preparation and execution of in-stadium entertainment and fan engagement elements
Support match presentation staff with game scripts, run-of-show documents, and PA reads
Assist with coordination of matchday promotional elements and fan activations
Provide operational support for matchday production and entertainment elements

Qualifications
Minimum
Currently Enrolled in related degree
High School or GED
Experience with basic production equipment.
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
Ability to maintain positive attitude and demonstrate professionalism
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
Ability to complete work accurately and in a timely manner
Ability to work independently & in a group setting and demonstrate good judgment skills
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
Possesses excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and adapt to changing environments
This position cannot work more than 29 hours per week.
Compensation
Base hourly range $19.29 per hour
