About the team and the role We are seeking a passionate and strategic Associate Creative Director (ACD) to lead creative development for eBay Live, our live shopping platform that brings excitement directly to our global community. As a senior creative lead on the Brand Creative team, you will build stories, campaigns, and content that define how buyers and sellers connect in real time—through entertainment, authenticity, and commerce.

What you will accomplish

Lead creative strategy and execution for eBay Live, developing coordinated campaigns that grow awareness, engagement, and tune‑in across our livestream programming.

Coordinate agency and internal team output across media formats including digital video, live broadcast content, social‑first storytelling, display advertising, CRM, and editorial partnerships.

Compose culture‑forward work that captures the energy and immediacy of live interaction—tapping into influencer culture, community trends, and the thrill of shared experience.

Collaborate cross‑functionally with marketing, product, and category teams to translate programming priorities and business objectives into compelling creative narratives.

Guide a cross‑disciplinary creative team (copy, art direction, design) to concept, develop, and refine assets that drive anticipation and participation before, during, and after live events.

Mentor and encourage creative talent while providing thoughtful, actionable feedback to agency and production partners.

Partner with social and community teams to develop content that drives organic conversation, engagement, and fandom around live hosts and shows.

Champion the brand, ensuring creative consistency and a distinct visual and verbal identity across all touchpoints.

Stay ahead of live‑streaming, creator economy, and commerce trends to inform campaign concepts, content formats, and engagement tactics.

Present work to senior leadership, articulating the creative rationale and insights that power each campaign.

What you will bring

9+ years of creative experience in advertising, content marketing, or brand storytelling—preferably with entertainment, livestream, or digital‑first brands.

3+ years in a leadership role (Art Director, Associate Creative Director, or Creative Director) leading creative development across coordinated campaigns.

Deep understanding of the creator economy, social commerce, and live content ecosystems, with a strong pulse on cultural trends and audience behavior.

Proven success developing coordinated, results‑focused creative across digital video, social, influencer, and experiential platforms.

Strong conceptual, editorial, and art direction skills; ability to evaluate, shape, and elevate copy and design.

Experience managing agencies and collaborators dedicated to 2D, motion, and video‑based storytelling.

Outstanding collaboration and communication skills; adept at working across multiple collaborators and priorities.

Portfolio that demonstrates excellence in building, creative innovation, storytelling range, and impact in socially‑focused or experience‑based verticals.

Bachelor’s degree in Design, Art, or a related field preferred.

Additional Details Base pay range: $103,600 – $177,800. The total compensation package may include a target bonus, restricted stock units, and a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits (401(k), PTO, parental leave). Base pay offered may vary depending on factors such as location, skills, and experience.
