Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Administrator to oversee operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing home management with a focus on enhancing the quality of life for our residents. The primary purpose of the Administrator is to direct the day-to-day functions of the facility in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern long-term care facilities to assure that the highest degree of quality care can be provided to our residents at all times.
The position of Administrator provides leadership to all staff to assure that care standards are met, and the highest degree of quality resident care is provided at all times. The position must function as a team member, team leader, and supervisor to ensure that work is accomplished, and quality care is delivered, supporting team members and leading the way in celebrating team successes. The LNHA has the authority, responsibility, and accountability for the overall operation and financial success of the center.
Qualification/Responsibilities
LNHA License must be in good standing with knowledge of the state guidelines / regulations
1 to 2 years’ experience as a Nursing Home Administrator.
Lead the facility management staff and consultants in developing and working from a company/facility business plan that focuses on all aspects of the facility operations
Meet regularly with the residents of the facility to ensure that they are satisfied with the delivery of care
Exhibits and promotes a positive customer service relationship to both internal as well as external customers
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Requirements
Proven experience in home care, nursing home administration, or senior care settings is preferred.
Knowledge of medication administration protocols and care plan development is essential.
Familiarity with operations management principles in a healthcare environment is advantageous.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with residents, families, and staff members.
Compassionate approach towards caregiving with a commitment to enhancing the well-being of residents.
