Paragard Marketing Intern

The Summer Intern program provides college students with the opportunity to participate in meaningful projects that contribute to the overall business unit objectives. In addition to the assigned projects, interns are given the opportunity to participate in activities that encourage networking with peers, managers, and employees.

As a Paragard Marketing intern, you will support projects that bridge brand strategy with tactical channel execution. You will research competitor strategies, analyze channel performance, and identify areas for improvement. This internship offers the chance to directly influence Paragard’s marketing approach while learning from both agency partners and our internal team.

Responsibilities

Support strategy for mid-level professionals and primary care providers (PCPs): Research and summarize best practices for marketing contraceptive services to nurse practitioners, midwives, and PCPs. Deliverable: Best practices summary, competitor analysis, and actionable recommendations.

College‑age awareness strategy support: Research and summarize contraceptive information and advertisements aimed at college students. Assist with or conduct user interviews to gather insights from this audience. Deliverable: Summary of findings and recommendations.

Evaluate Veeva email content: Meet with frequent users of Veeva emails, document current best practices, and provide clear recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications

Basic understanding of marketing channels

Basic understanding of marketing research

Project management

Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities

Work Environment

Professional office setting

Ability to work on‑site 5 days a week at the Trumbull office

Working with a remote team in addition to the home office team

This is a paid internship

Prolonged sitting in front of a computer

Prior Experience
Not required; prior internship experience is a plus.

Education

Current college student, majoring in marketing or communication, entering their Junior or Senior year or working towards a bachelor's degree.
